Moving off Wix
There’s no export.
We do it anyway.
Wix doesn’t give you your site back. That makes it the most hands-on of the website moves we do, and the one where the inventory matters most.

Where this usually starts
You can’t take it with you
Here’s the honest version of the Wix problem. Better to hear it before you start than halfway through.
- There’s no full-site export. Whatever you built stays where you built it.
- You can export the blog. The pages around it, mostly not.
- The layout only exists inside the Wix editor, so none of it is portable.
- URLs follow Wix conventions, and search engines know every one of them.
- Your domain is often registered through Wix as well, which adds a step nobody sees coming.
What we do instead
We recover it from the live site, carefully
A structured crawl of every published page gives us the text, media and metadata. That becomes a real content model on Strapi, Payload CMS or a custom build, and every Wix URL gets a redirect, so the rankings you’ve built up over the years come with you. It’s more work than the other website moves. We’d rather tell you now than discover it together in week two.
How it works
How a Wix move goes
Crawl and inventory
Every published page, with its text, images and metadata. Once Wix is gone this inventory is the only full record of the site, so we build it properly.
Pull what can be exported
Blog posts and any store catalog come out through the routes Wix does provide. Everything else comes from the crawl.
Rebuild on your platform
With a content model, on hosting defined as code. The design gets rebuilt rather than traced, because nothing about a Wix layout transfers.
Redirect every Wix URL
One to one, checked as a build gate. On a Wix move, nothing else in the project protects more of what you’ve built.
Move the domain, then cut over
Including the transfer out of Wix if the domain lives there. We take this step slowly and on purpose, since it’s the one that’s awkward to undo.
What comes across
All published page content
Recovered from the live site: headings, body copy, links, and the structure they imply.
Images and media
At the largest size the site serves, with alt text where Wix has it. The originals are gone. This is the best version left, and we’ll say so.
Blog posts
Through the export Wix does offer, then checked against the crawl so nothing published slips through.
Store catalog
Products, variants and descriptions, if you’re selling. Order history is a separate question.
Every URL, redirected
The whole Wix URL space mapped onto your new structure, and the build fails if a single one is missing.
Your domain
Transferred out if it’s registered with Wix, timed so the site never goes dark.

Applications, infrastructure, the legacy system nobody dares switch off, and every CMS from WordPress to Joomla. However old it is and whatever it’s called, if your business runs on it, we can move it.
Application Development
A two-screen booking tool or the system your whole company runs on. One team from the first whiteboard to the fortieth patch, so nobody inherits code they’ve never seen.
Sentrello
Sentrello is a self-hosted, source-available unified business management platform. We’re a Sentrello Premier Partner, and our own invoices, net terms and subscriptions all come out of it.
How many published pages?
On a Wix move the page count is the estimate, because so much of the work happens page by page.
Send us the domain and we’ll run the crawl ourselves before quoting anything. You keep the inventory whatever you decide.
